Coachella is one of the best music and art festivals from around the world. It has even become an icon, and a must to stop by at least once for any art lover. As the festival always counts with an incredible and diverse lineup, including artist for all styles and taste.
The Californian festival that takes place at the Empire Polo Club obviously counts with other things that celebrate every kind of art. This year as many others included many surprises, in all imaginable ways. Being one of the best ones when DJ Snake invited Lauryn Hill to perform along with him on April 15th.
An amazing comeback from a very special guest
As DJ Snake was playing on Saturday night of the first week of Coachella he welcomed many guest artists, including a very special surprise guest to the stage. Stepping up his presentation as he headlined the Outdoor stage. Something really incredible tough he came after the performances of the likes of Bastille, Tycho, Schoolboy Q, and Blossoms.
While he was playing he brought the hip-hop trio Migos into the stage. As they performed “Bad And Boujee,” adding an extra awesome artist to the lineup on Saturday night. After getting the crowd excited DJ Snake brought another incredible artist that took the crowd to another level.
Since the french DJ invited Lauryn Hill into the stage. As they played together, many of her hit songs from her time at “The Fugees” like “Ready Or Not,” and “Killing Me Softly”. She also did “Lost Ones,” from her solo project. Hill had previously been at the Coachella Festival back at 2014 when she joined Nas on stage. As she also made an appearance on 2011 and 2013.
Needless to say that Hill delivered a flawless performance. As anyone who has followed her trajectory knows the singer’s obsession with perfection. That often leads to a frustrating and exhaustive experience when it comes to her live performances.
Dj Snake social media to express his appreciation for the experience
After delivering an incredible display of talent and unbelievable music DJ Snake took social media to thank. As he praised both fans, for coming, and the guest artists, for playing along with him. As they helped him create a unique and even more enjoyable experience for everyone.
“Without challenges, there is nothing great. Last night a great moment was achieved. Greatness happened. Thank you to the Migos and to the legendary Ms. Lauryn Hill for helping me create an experience for you guys.” DJ Snake’s post added.
The experience to watch Hill was also something epic. Since she has spent most part of the year in her “MLH Caravan: A Diaspora Calling!” tour. So the chance to watch her was something that many fans really appreciated. Also due to the spark that was raised referring to her performances, after the artist showed up two hours late into a gig in Atlanta.
The First Weekend of Coachella wrapped up on Sunday, April 16th. As the lineup for the day included many awesome artists like Kendrick Lamar, who headlines the main stage. Along with many others like Lorde, Future Islands, New Order, Skepta, Kehlani, Twin Peaks, DJ Khaled and much more.
