As the day of Trump’s inauguration approaches, we have news about the musical guests. On Friday, spokesman Boris Epshteyn announced the artists that will perform at Trump’s inauguration taking place at Washington D.C’s Lincoln Memorial on January the 19th.
Jackie Evancho will sing the national anthem at The Make America Great Again event. Jon Voight, Angelina’s father, who openly defended the elected president, will also take part of the event, at some capacity not yet revealed. The very short list of performers includes the 00s mainstream fixtures 3 Door Down, country singer Toby Keith, and Jennifer Holliday.
The Piano Guys.
Maybe you’ve got no idea who they are so let me fill you in. The Piano Guys are a classical crossover and orchestral group that gained popularity through Youtube with their covers of popular songs in classical music. Tha band is from Utah and already has 5 albums that haver reached number one on the Billboard Classical Albums chart.
Lee Greenwood.
Greenwood has been part of presidential inaugurations before. The artist has sung his hit “God Bless the USA” at Ronald Reagan’s, George Bush and Geroge W. Bush inaugurations. And he’s coming back for a fourth one. The artist stated that he’s proud to be part of history again.
Jennifer Holliday.
Broadway star Jennifer Holliday, is also among the names to perform on the inauguration. She recently performed The Color Purple.
Toby Keith.
The artist performed for previous presidents Bush and Obama before, he stated that he’s not ashamed of performing for Trump since he has performed for his country and the military before with over 200 shows in Iraq and Afghanistan.
3 Doors Down.
The Mississippi rock band announced its participation in Trump’s inauguration via Instagram -the only one who proudly bragged about it. In the post, the band also announced other names that will take part of the inauguration such as DJ Ravidrums whoever he’s.
