Cute and funny Rupert Grint goes bad in this trailer
Yes, Ron Weasley goes full Slytherin in Crackle’s new series Snatch. Well, to be honest is Rupert Grint who loses his way in the new role he plays in the heist series.
Money, drugs, strippers, the trailer has it all. Action is of course included in the show, a great cast stars in this trailer and has a pair of tough shoes to fill, considering that is based in Guy Ritchie’s huge 2000 movie.
Here’s The New Snatch Trailer.
Be prepared to add the word wicked to your vocabulary for two reasons. First, because that’s what you’ll think after watching this trailer, and second because that’s how you say it in a cool and British way. A group of hustlers finds a bit of a trouble after a heist, and well things get complicated.
Bringing back a cool gang.
The series is based on Guy Ritchie’s 2000 crime comedy film. Back in the days, critics loved the movie, which also made a huge number of fans and followers. As you can imagine Ritchie set the bar pretty high but well, after watching the trailer, it looks good.
The Production
Created and produced by Alex De Rakoff, the show stars Rupert Grint. The cast features some big names including Ed Westwick (Gossip Girl), Luke Pasqualino (Battlestar Galactica), Lucien Laviscourt, Marc Warren, Stephanie Leonidas, Phoebe Dynevor and Dougray Scott.
The story.
Loosely based on Ritchie’s film, the story follows a group of hustlers who steal a bunch of gold and find themselves in the dangerous world of organized crime. Basically, they upgrade their heist game and their targets and now how to deal with it.
The absurd balance between comedy and violence.
One of the best things in the Snatch movie was how it portrayed this duality, which seems to also happen with the show, they capture this balance for what we see in the trailer. The absurds situations are portrayed with wit and style, which make them actually great.
Navigating in the dangerous water of heist.
Get ready to get in London’s underworld when everything starts to come down as cops, gypsy fighters, international mobsters and local villains descend. Most of all, get ready to learn some tough London slang, mate!
