Stephen Colbert’s Our Cartoon President Has A Seriously Amazing Cast

Get Ready For February 11th

The new series produced by Stephen Colbert Showtime, Our Cartoon President will be released this February 11th. Jeff Bergman will give life to the famous public figure Donald Trump.

“They are [Fox & Friends] every part of the White House. We believe,” showrunner R.J. Fried told reporters at the winter meetings of the Television Critics Association on Saturday.
“And so does Trump,” Colbert added.

New cartoon comedy for this 2018

The presenter of the LateShow joked a bit that Fire and Fury author Michael Wolff had stolen all 10 episodes of the show. After a digital preview and On Demand on January 28 before the January 30 State of the Union address.
“There’s nothing in that book that is not in our program, and we just guessed,” Colbert said.

The Bergman line

Bergman, whose works have been included in Family Guy and Mike Tyson Mysteries. Also giving life to one of the classics of animation: the famous rabbit Bugs Bunny after the death of Mel Blanc. The presenter of The Late Show Stephen Colbert described it as more the “spirit” of the president’s tweets
Bergman was not on the show to speak for himself. So the producers spoke for the
“This guy, Jeff [Bergman] is great,” Colbert said.

“R.J. and I had a bit of disagreement at the beginning about how this voice should be. Explain why you thought Jeff would be that guy,” he told Fried.

“The show is not a sketch.” He has to live several seasons, “Fried said.” Basically, we needed a voice that we could live within the long term. So we observed hundreds of different Trump impressions. There are some really wonderful ones. Many of which are already in the air. We felt that this was the most real and had most of humanity inside him. ”
So Bergman’s was the least annoying?

“Somehow,” Colbert commented. “And also, reality actually plays very well against what is. In reality, the cartoony behavior of our current president. So the more you thank him, the more he will highlight the inappropriateness of his behavior.”
“We have a really wonderful cast of people. I think Jeff Bergman’s Trump is what centers everything,” Fried said.

Although the program pretends to be less current than Colbert’s LateShow. Is giving a focus to interpersonal relationships. A challenge has been the turbulence of the true White House. Where the characters considered as mature for animation have almost always been left.

“We had a great [Steve] Bannon, and then Bannon was fired,” Colbert said. “In a hurry, Bannon could be back tomorrow … but I think he could disappear in a rain of blood.”

No limits?

Some people or certain issues will go out of bounds, he argued.

“We don’t make jokes about [Trump’s youngest son] Barron,” he said. “Or even Tiffany really a lot,” and he would stay away from any “personal tragedy,” he said.

Many characters will appear in the new series. Most likely The LateShow will give all the attention to President Trump.
“He is the president of the United States,” Colbert said. “It’s worth talking about everything in your life.”
We are looking forward to this new series created by a host and comedian who always has something to talk about. Between dark jokes and others, we hope this series, preparing for everything. Hopefully, Trump is just as happy and excited to be starring in an animation.  Not only gives him life but gives a twist to his position in the presidency in the White house. Good luck with this and remember that we do not laugh at you but with you!
