Harry Styles Debut Solo Album Is Coming Even Sooner Than We Expected

Seems like we’re listening to Harry Styles’ solo work sooner than we thought. The former 1D is following his former bandmates steps and is dropping new tracks in April, rumor has it.

News of Harry signing a recording contract with Columbia records were confirmed in June last year. Harry has been quite busy, recently he featured on Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster Dunkirk.

Solo career.

One Direction is currently on a musical break and the four members are working on their own music projects. Louis Tomlinson dropped a track with his buddy Steve Aoki and it’s a hit. Former 1D member, Zayn is taking the world with his music and now Harry is doing the same.

Past June news flew saying that Harry signed a recording deal with Columbia Records and everybody lost it. Since that moment Harry has been working on his project but everything has been kept really top secret.

During an interview, Columbia CEO, Rob Stringer, said about Harry and the album, “We’re close and we’re very excited. We have a record we’re incredibly excited about and it’s not far away from being ready. We obviously want everything to be beautifully done because we think he’s here to stay. Harry has stepped up with the vision of someone who’s authentic.”

Earlier this month Harry was spotted looking hip as he left a London recording studio. Producer Johnny McDaid is working on the album with Harry, back in May he said, “I’m really excited by the way he’s sounding at the minute, he’s such a talent. I think the world is going to be really shocked at what he comes up with.”

Recent reports said that Harry’s album will sound like a cross between David Bowie and Queen, and taking into consideration Harry’s musical tastes is pretty much expected those translates into his music.

Sooner than expected.

Harry is teasing hard, on Saturday a mysterious tv ad aired in the UK. An instrumental track is heard as Harry walks through a cloud of smoke, then his eyes gaze into the camera and finally the date April the 7 appears.

Also on his Instagram account, the singer posted three completely white pictures with no caption after months without posting on the social media.

Rumour has it Harry will drop a single on April the 7. OMG!
