Lady Gaga is about to hit the road with the Bud Light Dive Bar Tour. The singer takes on the intimate tour for the second time and promises an even more intimate experience.
The diva will continue on the road during the summer, taking on ‘Joanne’ Wolrd Tour in support of her fifth album. This chick is having it all, preparing for her domination on the silver screen with the movie ‘A Star Is Born.’
Prepare for an “even more intimate” Bud Light Dive Bar experience
Lady Gaga is reviving the dive bar tour she completed to celebrate the release of her 2016 album.
The singer is kicking off her second round of the Bud Light Dive Bar Tour in Las Vegas on July 13.
“To us, dive bars are where friendships are forged over beers and music,” Andy Goeler, vice president of Bud Light, said in a release.
“We’re thrilled to be teaming up with our friend Lady Gaga once again and we’re excited to bring two new musician friends on the tour with us this summer,” he added.
The remaining tour dates will be on Wednesday, July 26 in Los Angeles, and Wednesday, Aug. 30 in New Orleans.
Both cities will feature a surprise headliner who will be announced by Bud Light at a later date. Performances will be live streamed on Bud Light’s Facebook page.
This time there’s a specific connection between the smaller shows and her approach to the ‘Joanne’ tour that’ll make her latest jaunt a completely new experience for Little Monsters across the country.
“I think the intention is to, when I’m in the arena, to really kind of slow it down sometimes and really connect with each person in the most intimate way that I can, like it would be in a dive bar,” Gaga told Billboard.
Gaga is really planning to make it more intimate.
“I really want to break the songs down and talk to the audience even more and just, you know, sing the hell out of my songs,” she said.
Continuing the ‘Joanne’ world domination
Gaga will be spending a ton of time on the road this summer.
Following her alliance with Bud Light to deliver intimate shows, the singer will deliver stadium size shows in support of her studio album ‘Joanne’.
And judging by Coachella, which she headlined this year, we’re in for a big show.
The singer first made the announcement of a massive world tour for her latest album back in February. After her incredible Super Bowl LI halftime show, she shared the happy news with the Little Monsters.
A complete 60 dates world tour, taking on stadiums. The jaunt begins August 1st in Vancouver, British Columbia, and winds through North America. Including stops at baseball stadiums like San Francisco’s AT&T Park (August 13th), Chicago’s Wrigley Field (August 25th), New York’s Citi Field (August 28th) and Boston’s Fenway Park (September 1st) before heading to Europe for a month.
Gaga returns stateside for the second North American leg on November 5th in Indianapolis, circling the middle and southern stretches of the U.S. before ending December 14th in Salt Lake City.
‘Joanne’ was released on October 21, 2016, as a follow-up to 2013 Artpop.
The album shows a new side of Gaga with not only a different sound, emphasising the singer’s vocal abilities. But also dwelling on the theme of family and life’s emotions.
Gaga called it her most personal work, and it actually has a deep influence on her aunt’s death, called Joanne.
