John Oliver Criticizes Obama for His Vacation Photos By Saying ‘America Is On Fire’

We all need a break from time to time, especially since routine and daily life get really overwhelming. That is the whole point of relaxing and vacations. A time just dedicated to leisure and resting, for us to recharge batteries and then continue to kick ass at our lives.

That’s exactly what Barack Obama did after 8 years of being the President of the United States, he decided to take some time off and relax before coming back home. John Oliver is not too happy about Obama’s decision.

John Oliver is a workaholic.

On an interview on “Late Night,” with Seth Meyers, John was joking around that he really works his socks off, but he loves to do it. Comparing himself to a “heroin addict” when it comes to working. Oliver explained that’s due to the fact that most of his jokes come from news and current events, so he has to be updated and know everything that is going at the moment.

John and Seth kept joking that no one really envies John and no one will ever say “look how laid back and relaxed is John Oliver or his life”. Since his work is really demanding. Oliver even said: “I’m not sure I’ve ever kicked back in my life, I don’t think I have the personality to kick back.”

Not embracing Summer time.

John recognized that from time to time a vacation is needed. As he is getting ready to get back on track with the season premiere of “Last Week Tonight.” But also said that his time off the air was in no way a vacation. Since he was getting ready for “Last Week Tonight.”

Between all that Oliver stated his discomfort towards the former president of the U.S. Barack Obama. Since former POTUS has been photographed relaxing and chilling to the limit in his vacations. Learning how to kitesurf, relaxing at the beach and hanging around with billionaires. All of this while America burns with Trump in charge.
