Timothée Chalamet In Famous Paintings Is All We Needed

This Artist Is Very Talented

There’s no doubt that Adobe Photoshop is a very useful editing program. But most importantly, that there’s many talented people making art with it. Well, get this. There’s an Instagram account that only posts famous and iconic paintings. But it has a little twist. Timothée Chalamet’s face is photoshopped into each one of them.

And it’s actually pretty impressive!

But this is definitely more than just a meme. This is art.

Art imitates life imitates art

Anna, the brilliant mind behind @chalametinart, is a 23-year-old Polish student inspired by the movie Call Me By Your Name (2017). “I was absolutely stunned by its beauty,” she told Mashable. “The scenery, the music, the acting — all of it seemed to almost live and breathe art.”

And guess what… She’s absolutely right!

“Each shot of the movie, presented from just one perspective (due to the use of a single lens) truly resembled a carefully thought-out painting.”

Anna, you’re so right everything else seems wrong.

She also spoke to Vice and said she was really impressed no one had already done an account like this before.

“Elio, with his curly hair, playing guitar and piano, biking through the Italian countryside, immediately reminded me of Caravaggio’s Boy with a Basket of Fruit. The presence of the iconic peach in the painting could not be missed.”

Anna started the account on July 1, with Edvard Munch’s “The Scream”. Now, with 55k followers and almost 30 posts, we found out want more. We’re not ready to let this go. Not yet. Let’s hope she keeps this Chalamet art, because it’s amazing!
