On Tuesday, Netflix released the first look at Orange Is The New Black and is tense!! The one-minute sneak peak, literally 60 seconds, shows how tense this fifth season is going to be.
The season five takes it back where it left us and brings us more Litchfield drama. Season 5 hits Netflix on June 9, so it’s pretty much about time to start teasing us up. Spoiler alert: It ends with a bang!

OITNB ends with a BANG!
The first minute of the upcoming fifth seasons of Orange Is The New Black is intense, to say the least! It kicks off with Daya threatening to shoot a guard while a riot is pretty much breaking around her. Damn, trouble!
Then we see Alex and Piper for just seconds and back to the uprising. Then there’s a scream asking for silence just before the screen goes black and the gunshot goes off. Excited already? We don’t know who shot and have to wait to find it but this is just incredibly exciting!
Right where we left it
Season five takes it right where season four left it. In the riot that resulted from the outrageous death of Poussey at the hands of Alan.
When Caputo refused to shot Bayley the betrayal incited the riot and women marched down the hallways of the prison. Amidst all that mess, Humphrey dropped his gun and Daya grabbed it…and here we are again.
Three days course
This season will count with 13 episodes but it’s set to take place over in real time over the course of three days. This way it highlights how much the series has changed in the wake of a major riot at Litchfield. Prepare for some pretty intense and detailed thing coming up you still have a couple of months.
