‘Gilmore Girls’ Revival Might Be Coming Back To Netflix

Of Course It Needs To Come Back!

The American comedy-drama “Gilmore Girls,” was such a success. After its seventh season in 2007, the American entertainment company Netflix decided to released a miniseries of four chapters called “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” that follows the history of the characters nine years later.

Ted Sarandos, Netflix’s chief content officer, said that the streaming giant is in “very preliminary” talks with “Gilmore Girls” creators Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino for a revival of the revival.

“Whatever happens, happens.”

The comedy drama, which originally ran from 2000 to 2007 and returned to the streaming service for four movie-length episodes at the end of 2016 is about to be revived. In November, Sherman-Palladino told The Hollywood Reporter that they’ve got to put that to bed and then, “whatever happens, happens.”

What happened was that many fans called for more episodes after the cliffhanger at the end of Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life, so Sarandos told the U.K.’s press association that it might be a revival of the revival.

More Gilmore Girls.

The words of Sarandos were full of hope, “we obviously loved the success of the show, fans loved how well it was done, it delivered what they hoped,” he claimed.

“The worst thing is to wait a couple of years for your favorite show to come back and for it to disappoint you, but they sure delivered and people were really excited about more, and we have been talking to them about the possibility of that,” Sarados added.
