The New ‘Cookies & Screeem’ From M&M's Are Freakingly Good

M&M’s and Oreo just unveiled a delicious fusion, and it’s already set for Halloween. The new Cookie&Screeem is what fans have been asking for years, and will be available starting on September 3.

Because it’s never too early for a treat, Reese also unveiled its Reese’s bats. They’re all available in Target.

The perfect fusion come true

It’s still only August, and by all logic, it should be way too early for Halloween candy to be on the shelves. But it’s impossible to stay mad at the candy, especially wild new fusion foods like the new M&M and Oreo’s.

Labelled ‘Cookies and Screeem’ are inspired by one of our favorite flavors, cookies, and cream.

Unlike other M&M’s, which consist of a milk shell and a choice of filling – usually, either milk chocolate, peanut or rice crispies – this packet will actually make you feel as though you’re biting into tiny balls of Oreo.

To give it as Oreo a feel as possible, the M&M’s are coated in dark chocolate and come filled with a white chocolate center.

They even come with a speckled design to give them a more witchy feel – which is just perfect for Halloween.

M&M has previously released limited holiday editions. Earlier this year, it was the limited-edition Easter Sundae M&M that had a white chocolate center coated in milk chocolate, with a pastel shell.

And next year, M&M’s will come out with a limited-edition Triple Chocolate M&M for Valentine’s Day. That one has a milk chocolate core surrounded by layers of white and dark chocolate.

The adorable candy is a Target exclusive and will be available nationally on September 3, and cost $3.19.

The right place for a Halloween treat

But the heavenly M&M and Oreo fusion is not all Target is bringing this Halloween. The store has already confirmed is bringing more exclusive candy for the holiday.

Aside from the adorably dubbed M&M’s ‘Cookies & Screeem,’ Target is also selling Reese’s Bats.

Reese’s cups are an all-time favorite around the world. This Halloween Reese’s is stepping it up big time with Reese’s Bats, bat shaped Reese’s cups.

These bat-shaped peanut butter cups are brand new and are on sale exclusively at Target for $3.59 a bag.

Other confections exclusive to Target include Reese’s Spooky Miniatures, Reese’s Bats, Dove Milk Chocolate & Caramel Witches Mix, SweeTARTS Skulls & Bones and Pumpkin Spice Oreos.

Target PR rep Taylor Roy confirmed the news, and to make it even better, you won’t have to wait until October, but can start eating these candies in September.
