H&M released a new Christmas advert, it’s a short film titled “Come Together”, the director was Wes Anderson and it’s everything you expected from his view.
Starring Adrien Brody, the story is festive and will warm your heart. “This story may resonate more than ever at a time in the world where we could all do with giving a stranger a hug,” told Brody referring to the short film.
Shoot with Anderson’s classic style, the story takes place on a train.
Adrien is a train driver who is forced to delay the ride due to the snow. Worried for his passengers obligated to cancel their holiday’s celebration, he decides to make it up for them.
It ends up with a festive feeling.
The train driver makes a special dinner celebration for his travelers.
Brody plays the man that saves the Christmas spirit.
Adrien was an obvious pick, he has already starred in Anderson’s movies such as “The Darjeeling Limited”, “The Grand Budapest Hotel” and “Mr. Fox”.
Wes was selected to direct the film because of his aesthetic.
“The winter train ride, under Wes Anderson’s direction, is the perfect setting for H&M’s holiday collection full of relaxed, wearable elegance, it’s about mixing the informal with a sense of occasion, capturing the holiday mood for both dressing up and getting cozy with loved ones.” shared Pernilla Wohlfahrt, who’s H&M’s creative director.
