London’s Fashion Week is taking place from February 17th to 21st, and we are sort of nervous about what the designers are going to be showing, and we can’t hold our anxieties for the upcoming shows. But in the meantime, we are receiving some really good advices from the trendiest people on the city, that are showing us how to pose for the perfect Tinder picture.
Best Idea EVER
Mashable’s idea of asking Fashion Week’s attendees to give everybody some stellar advices on how to create a show-stopper, is so far the most ingenious and creative idea we have seen lately.
As the site reads: “there is only one thing standing between you and your next date: Your Tinder profile photo,” so they went around London streets to photograph the trendiest persons who taught us how to get it right and be able to find ourselves in demand.
Tips from the trendiest people
The experts on this subject did not want us to get it wrong and end up dateless, so they gave some tips: Do not look over friendly, mysterious works too.
-
Show your face, it is a profile picture.
-
Do not pose is better to seem natural.
-
Be transparent in who you are.
-
Pretend to be cool if that is how you want the world to see you.
What the teachers said
“Be a bit mysterious. That’s a bit difficult on Tinder. You don’t want to seem overly friendly, don’t want to give out the wrong impression.” — Izzy Van Dyke and Christine Donahue, fashion students.
“I want people to see me as I am — super cool, super reachable.” Amanda Michelena, fashion stylist.
“I think I look sexy and sassy.” — Imogen Hudson, blogger
“I like to not take myself too seriously. That’s who I am as a person. I like to have fun. I wouldn’t want someone to think I’m a bit pretentious or posey.” — Jade-Marie Merchent, fashion designer
