Star Wars is incredible. One of the coolest things mankind has ever created. The story is incredibly awesome and fun to watch, over and over again. The antiquity of the movies is also a factor. George Lucas created a whole new world for us to amaze with and man it worked.
This franchise has surpassed the prove of time. As generation after generation fall in love with its worlds and characters. Since it has one of the world’s biggest fan bases. So anyone who loves this, especially generationally, would love a vacation with a Star Wars theme.
Star Wars cruise.
The cruise is really an experience from a galaxy far far away. As many fans had to pay months ago to enjoy the weeklong-themed cruise through the Caribbean. The cruise was expanded greatly, to the point of a Star Destroyer, from an experimental sailing that was done in January of 2016.
Being able to satisfy any Star Wars lover demand. It had more activities, characters and little details that make the experience even more incredible. Especially if the whole family is in love with the saga.
Full day at the Jedi-temple.
Even if the cruise didn’t actually take you to any of the planets imagined by Lucas and only counted with one official “Star Wars Day at Sea,” you were able to feel the trip into the movie’s world. As it included things from the whole eight movies.
Any fan could fight against a Sith Master, watch the eight movies in the two onboard theaters, eat Vader-shaped fudge and Wookie cookies, play Star Wars Battlefront, Lucasfilms’ approved lectures to turn you into a Star Wars expert, trivia and cosplay contests, themed restaurants and crew members, screen-accurate characters display and a firework show to tribute the late Carrie Fisher.
Fan favorites.
Besides the whole activity package, the ship included many details that made you fell more in love in with it. As the ship’s horn was modified to play the Star Wars theme song and the “Imperial March.” Alongside with “When You Wish Upon a Star.” all at deafening volume.
The cruise was the complete fan experience. Not only for the many things the whole family could do. But also because it counted with on deck storm troopers, that where not only casted but as well many of them form part of the cosplay group the 501st Legion.
Not stopping in Tatooine.
The ship counted with 4.500 passengers that not only used their time on the cruise for fun and relaxation. But as well as an opportunity to show some of their Star Wars skills.
As the ship skipped from the Dogabah system, it went from Port Canaveral to Cozumel, Mexico, passing by Grand Cayman, Jamaica, and Disney’s private island Castaway Cay. But ensure to all the passengers probably the best Star Wars experience they have ever lived to the moment, and maybe of their lives.
