The Workaholics Guys Just Released The Teaser For Their New Netflix Movie

Few Shows Are As Epic And Weird As This One

Few shows are as epic as “Workaholics”. With its stoner, dumb and lazy potato couch jokes and characters. As they’re played by Adam Devine, Anders Holm, and Blake Anderson, along with behind-the-scenes collaborator Kyle Newacheck. But sadly this seventh season will be the last one. Nevertheless, the supergroup is planning a new movie so they can keep hanging around and make us laugh, called “Game Over, Man!”.

The film is set to be released on Netflix, on April 4th of the upcoming year, (4/20 obviously). So the guys will still have another chance to keep working all together and deliver to us more silly jokes. Something very appreciated since their individual careers have begun to grow and diverge. Making the movie a kind of reunion after the ending of the epic show that raised them to stardom.

Still fresh

Workaholics is about three lazy-ass roommates who enter the real/laboral world after college. With them getting into the funniest situations due to their inability to use common sense, or literally think. Since they were always too high or dumb to solve anything, making it all even worse. The show was one of Comedy Central’s top ones, with strong ratings in the network, developing a kind of cult for the show. Even attracting some high-profile guest stars.

Now, for their movie debut on Netflix the three would-be video game creators. Whose dream project is finally going to come true, but gets ruined when their financial benefactor is kidnapped by terrorists. Due to that cinematic argument, anything can happen, especially knowing how the guys are. They can be an actual terrorist, or be aliens or whatever. Probably they will kind of know what to do since they develop similar situation to the game or vice-versa, including it on their game.

Barely working

The Netflix film will be under their Mail Order Comedy production banner. The reason why the guys will be producing the movie. But they will count with the collaboration of Isaac Horne of Avalon, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg & James Weaver of Point Grey Pictures and Scott Rudin and Eli Bush of Scott Rudin Productions. The script was written by Holm, and was based on a story that the foursome developed together.

The guys have come a long way sine 2010. From posting online sketches as the Mail Order Comedy sketch group, to be one of the most successful shows on Comedy Central. Devine recently hosted the MTV Movie and TV Awards, and also became a regular on “Modern Family”. Also starring on “Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates” and wrapped a lead role in “When We First Met”. Holm is producing on Judy Greer’s “A Happening of Monumental Proportions” and is also starring and executive producing the PI comedy series project “Pigeon”. Which’s pilot is set to be released at Fox. Finally, Anderson has an online clothing line Teenage alongside his wife.
