As the world welcomed Trump as the new US President on Friday, Instagram and Twitter witnessed how celebrities gave their final goodbye to the 44th US President. With memories, touching messages, and beautiful words celebrities farewelled Obama and celebrated his time in the White House.
Here are just a few of the celebrities that said goodbye to the Obamas
10. Rihanna
Everybody had its own way to say goodbye, and Riri made sure to stay true to herself while saluting the former president. The artist shared a picture of the former president with a funny pose and wearing a t-shirt that said “Supreme”. She completed the picture with her usual sense of humor and, well, a spark of her personality, by captioning it “worst breakup ever”.
9. Demi Lovato.
Demi kept her message short and clear. She went classic by sharing a picture of the Obamas and the caption “Thank you.” No words needed.
8. Sophia Bush.
As an active part of the “Let Girls Learn” initiative, Sophia decided to thank and pay respects to former FLOTUS Michelle. On Thursday, the actress shared a picture of Michelle and herself during one of the event’s initiatives. She highlighted the importance of using our voices to make a positive change in the world, which she learned from Michelle.
7. Katy Perry.
Katy dedicated some touching words at the beginning of the week. The singer shared a picture taken back in 2012, with a touching caption. In the post, she thanked Obama for being an exceptional example for all. She also expressed her faith in the US’ youth and remembered Barack’s words calling them “Unselfish, altruistic, creative, patriotic and believe in a fair, just, inclusive America.”

The Glee star celebrated the powerful duo while highlighting their dignity, grace, and love. Dianna also pointed out the obvious, that we’ll miss them terribly.

The actress shared a cute picture of Obama and a little kid. Zendaya celebrated the historical impact of the Obama administration in her picture’s caption. She captioned it “My president is black…feels good to say.” She also thanked him for all he did and everything he represents.

The actress was really supportive of the Obama administration. Olivia who was one of the guests in the Obamas’ final ball , shared a beautiful black and white picture of a kid looking up to president Obama. The picture included all the feels and literally made her heart ache.

Ellen shared a picture on Thursday celebrating Obama. The former president featured her TBT captioned “happy”. In the picture, Ellen and Barack are dancing and having fun. Such a nice way to remember the former president.
