On Thursday, Beyoncé pulled out of Coachella via a statement released by the festival’s producers. The pregnant diva withdrew following doctors order to reduce activity in the upcoming months.This year marked the first time Beyoncé was headlining the festival. Is yet to be announced who will replace the pop diva in the festival, though it was announced that she’ll perform in 2018’s edition.
Keeping it low key.
On Thursday, Parkwood Entertainment and Goldenvoice, Coachella’s producer company, announced via a statement to the Associated Press that Beyonce won’t perform in this year’s festival. Bey is expecting twins and decided to pull out the festival due to doctor orders.
The statement said, “Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyonce has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.”
A replacement for the pop singer is yet to be announced, the statement also said that the diva will be part of the festival next year, it said, “However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding.”
She’ll be back.
Beyoncé was making history in Coachella this year as the first female act to headline Coachella since the 2007 Björk’s presentation. Queen Bey was part of the headlines along with Kendrick Lamar and Radiohead. She was set to present during the two weekends, April 14th through 16th, and the 21st through 23rd.
This year marked her return to the Indio, California festival she last appeared in 2014 dancing onstage during her sister’s performance. Can’t wait to see her perform next year!

The singer announced her pregnancy via Instagram, in a post o February 1st. Recently, she performed at the Grammys looking quite pregnant and stunning as always.
In this year’s Grammys, the singer performed “Love Drought” and “Sandcastles” both part of her 2016’s album, Lemonade. Beyonce had 9 nominations and took home two including, Best Music Video for “Formation” and Best Urban Contemporary Album for Lemonade.
