On Monday Vanessa Hudgens was on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The actress and the host took the opportunity to make a ballad rendition of their favorite show’s theme song, Friends.
As part of the promotion of her new sitcom Powerless, the actress stopped by the late show. Powerless premieres on Thursday night on NBC.

As Vanessa and Jimmy discussed her new show, they remembered NBC’s biggest comedy shows. Turned out they are two huge Friends’ fans and lovers. They decided to celebrate the spirit of friendship and performed the Friends theme song. They delivered a beautiful ballad that took us back to Friends’ glory days.

Vanessa’s new series, Powerless, is joining the NBC family on Thursday night. Powerless is set in the DC Comics’ universe. tt follows the lives of ordinary people in the middle of the superhero and supervillains battles.
It follows Vanessa’s adventures as Emily Locke, the Director of Research & Development for Wayne Security. She provides people with products that make their lives safer as they’re powerless in the superheroes’ universe.

The actress loves comedy, her favorite shows include Parks and Recreation and The Office, as she told Jimmy. She’s really thrilled about starring in a sitcom, which has long been Vanessa’s dream.
As Jimmy and Vanessa discussed her new show they also discussed the memorable NBC’s Thursday nights. The line-up included Seinfeld, Cheers, and Friends. The pair turned into human versions of the heart eye emoji when they talked about friends.

They decided to express their love for the sitcom by singing the show’s theme song. The Friends’ fans transformed The Rembrandts pop song into a slow ballad.
