Politics are one of the most fundamental things in societies. As it has to do with almost every aspect of it. That is why so many people are worried about Trump’s presidency and what he will do during his 4 years in the White House. Many people believe he is a little… let’s call it “unstable.”

Due to the concern Trump’s political measures, mass media channels have opted to make the people’s voice heard. By asking their opinions on the new president of their country.

Billy Eichner asks people about their opinions on several matters on his show “Billy on the Street” As he does games and interviews to random people about pop culture or trending situations.

But now he has given it a political touch. Along with Steven Colbert, they pass through the streets of New York city asking the citizens their political opinion about Trump.

A message to the president.

In this occasion, Billy Eichner and Steven Colbert asked their fellow Americans and New Yorkers what their concerns are over the new president of the U.S.

The pair asked NY people how it felt to be a part of a “New York bubble” and what message would they send to Donald Trump. Furthermore, Billy and Steven made all sorts of questions related to these topics, of course, they laughed and made fun of the whole situation.

Eichner and Colbert heard some really funny things, but some of the answers had a more serious tone and others were simply cutting. As they had elements of truth and ironic surrealism, just like Trump’s campaign.

New Yorkers proved with they’re answers and statements, that they’re just simple American citizens with the same worries and thoughts that everyone has, especially now with this new government in office..

People are worried about what will happen.

betwen the answers, the pair interviewed a lady that said “I’m actually very concerned about the people he’s bringing into his cabinet. He’s opening a Pandora’s box.” To what Colbert replied, “He actually grabbed the Pandora box without asking permission.” She also called Trump “a shallow creep.”

Another girl took the time to send a goodbye letter to the freedom of the press in America, as she worried about Trump’s measures.

Between the best sassy comments, was an old lady that said the first thing that comes to her mind when she hears Donald Trump is “golden showers” and an average New Yorker girl said it feels awesome to be a “New Yorker elitist piece of sh*t.”

At the end, it seems that New Yorkers are doing pretty well inside their bubble. Many of the serious comments were really smart or things that any normal person could relate to. It seems that they’re not as “elitist” as others might think.

Finally, the happiness towards this bubble is expressed when Billy decides to get into one, literally. A gigantic plastic bubble. Later Colbert would join billy dancing to some classical sweet New York music.
