One of the celebrity couples of the moment is Selena Gomez and The Weeknd without a question. The couple was first caught canoodling during a January date in LA. Then Selena showed her beau some support around the world. Especially in their Toronto dates and red carpet debut as a couple at the Met Gala. They continue to steal our hearts.
On Tuesday, Selena showed her support during The Weeknd’s concert at the Barclays Center in NYC. After that, the two shared a dinner and Selena was completely a traffic stopper.
Selena’s outfit included an asymmetrical Alexandre Vauthier semi sheer dress that exposed her body through the thin fabric. The black dress had a silver sleeve accent and high slit. She kept her hair in a ponytail and minimalist black Jimmy Choo sandals. The Weeknd, shared the style on his Instagram page writing, simply, “Glow.”

Selena Gomez’s brand new ‘Bad Liar’.
When Selena Gomez’s ‘Bad Liar’ came out last month, the cover caused almost as much conversation as the singer’s striking new sound. In a new interview with MTV News, the singer explained why she appears in the photo with a hospital bracelet and a bandage on her arm.
It turns out that when Selena went to work with photographer Petra Collins on the single artwork and music video for Bad Liar. She had just come from the hospital, where she was receiving treatment for lupus. Instead of asking her to take off the bandage, Petra encouraged her to keep it and own the vulnerable look.
“It was a very real moment,” Selena said. “She thought it was beautiful … It was just exactly where I was emotionally.” Plus, the image perfectly fits the song. “It kind of symbolizes what the song is and where I am personally,” she added.
As for where her music, Selena notes that ‘Bad Liar’ and its video could mark the beginning of a new direction for her. She wrote it after a period of time when she felt stuck in the studio. Luckily, Petra’s photography helped shake her out of her rut and come back to her creative side, which is why they ended up working so well together.
