We’ve asked for it so many times and it’s finally here! I’m talking about Madonna’s Carpool Karaoke, with James Corden. I think we all can agree on this being the absolute best. The Queen of pop showed Corden around New York City and it was hilarious.
Madonna says she’s square but that’s not what we saw in the video, the minute she sat down in that car, she started cursing, luckily it stopped when they put on some of the diva’s hottest songs. We’ve got the chance to see that Madonna is quite serious when it comes to striking a pose.
She is the best city guided James could ask for.
Not only she directs him, but she also gives him life lessons “If you let people get away with bad behavior they’re gonna do it again,” she said after a bus driver cut James off the road. Then they started singing and talking about some crazy stuff.

“I don’t really like riding around in a car without music,” said Madonna right before they started singing and dancing inside the car. I have to admit i was concerned for them, dancing and driving isn’t a very good idea.
Madonna really wanted James to get undressed.
She said he gets undressed for everyone and that she was expecting him to do that for her. But for the sake of both, James decided to keep his shirt on. Madonna on the other side did some twerking, in the car as she showed her dance moves.
Madonna used to like the thought of becoming a nun. WHAT?
Madona says her work is rebellious, but her lifestyle isn’t. She has a very predictable life. Unbelievable, but true. The queen of pop doesn’t drink, smoke or party. James found it fascinating how on the streets she’s Madonna and when she goes home she becomes “Julie Andrews”. She said she likes nun’s uniforms because they are kind of “perverse”.
Madonna showed James how to be Evita.
She’s a huge fan of musicals, she even appeared in one of the greatest, Evita. Madonna showed James how to strike the pose she did on the balcony of “La Casa Rosada”. Corden even knew the lyrics of the song.
Love life also came up.
They were talking about whether Madonna has a type or not. She’s looking for humor, a fun guy like James but with a “nice sense of dressing”.
She shared a kiss with Michael Jackson.
No one ever asked them so people didn’t know, but they did and Madonna made the first move since Michael was a shy guy.
Madonna is a wild one.
Now that she and James are friends she can open up with him, she even got her foot out the window when they were stocked on traffic.
