Former 1D Member Liam Payne Just Welcomed His First Son

Liam Payne turned to Instagram to share the big news, on Saturday. He posted a picture of himself cradling his little bundle of joy. Liam and Cheryl Cole welcomed their first son on Wednesday.

It’s official, Lim Payne just joined the former-boy-band-turned-dad club! The couple never confirmed they were expecting a baby but Cheryl was seen with the baby bump multiples times in late 2016.

Welcoming a healthy baby boy!

Liam is the second member of the boy band to welcome a baby. Both him and the happy mother shared the news on Saturday night. Just in time to wish every mother a happy mother’s day in the UK.

The singer shared a picture of himself cradling the baby boy with the cutest caption ever, letting friends and fans know that they’re now happy parents of a baby boy. He said, “I’m incredibly happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world, it’s a moment that I will never forget for the rest of my life and my favorite memory I have so far.”

The couple hasn’t named him yet but they both assure he’s capturing hearts already. Payne also praised Cole for being such an incredible woman and now mother. He said, “I’m completely in awe of his incredible mother and how she has been the whole way through this, she’s really made my dreams come true.”

Showing that baby bump

The happy news of the couple expecting a baby wasn’t confirmed until November last year, but even though Cheryl only announced her pregnancy until February this year. The former singer showed up her baby bump on multiple occasions.

The singer made her bump debut in a photo shoot for L’Oreal and The Prince’s Trust and looked stunning.

Pretty much in love with his dream girl

The couple first met back in 2010, when Liam was competing on The Ex-Factor and Cheryl was a judge in the series. The mentor, 10 years older than Liam, and the former 1D felt an instant connection.

They started dating last year and made their red carpet debut at Eva Longoria’s Global Gift Gala in Paris, last May. Cheryl was awarded the Global Gift Philanthropist Award in the occasion.

Payne said in an interview about Cole, “Obviously I have the most beautiful girlfriend in the world and she’s absolutely amazing, she’s been my dream girl since I was younger. She’s so ace.”
