The First DuckTales Trailer Is Here And We Can't Wait

Cartoons are one of those things we always can enjoy. As we were kids there were one of our main sources of entertaining. But as we grow up we start appreciating other aspects of them. Like the art, the cleverness behind it and even the memories.

Since this year started it has been awesome for cartoons. As the buzz for Rick and Morty has reached its top again due to the prank trailer, Samurai Jack is going to be released in the days to come and now Duck Tales has released its official trailer. Even though we knew back in December that a Duck Tales reboot was going to happen, as the new voice cast members sang their iconic theme song.

Duck Tales was one of Disney’s most beloved shows, that aired from 1987 until 1990. As we saw Donald Duck’s adorable and mischievous nephews Huey, Louie and Dewey go on some incredible adventures along their cranky and billionaire uncle Scrooge McDuck.

All of this getting Donald and uncle Scrooge in all kinds of problems as well. Also, we counted with the company of the Launchpad McQuack, Mrs. Beakley, and her nice Webby Vanderquack. To show us some of the most quacking adventures we ever saw, and that we will see soon again.

New look same old ducks.

Even though the art has a new beautiful comic-like look and the voices have changed. Since they will feature Bobby Moynihan, Ben Schwartz, Danny Pudi, Kate Micucci, Toks Olagundoye, Beck Bennet and David Tennant. With Tennant voicing Scrooge McDuck, and Huey, Dewey, and Louie will be played by Pudi, Schwartz, and Moynihan respectively. Their awesome display in humor and style haven’t changed a bit.

Furthermore, we see that their taste for adventure hasn’t changed a bit. As we still see they love to get in “treasure hunts” that involve snakes, puzzles, exotic destinations and so on. Also of the changes, we can appreciate is that the nephew’s humor has grown a bit darker. Or at least Louie has. Saying that Donald is “finally selling them” to uncle Scrooge or that he is the evil triplet.

Re-release.

One of the other things that we can see in this new version of Duck Tales is that the nephews are skeptical of their uncle Scrooge’s abilities. Since they don’t believe him when he says: “I made my name being tougher than the toughies and smarter than the smarties.”

In the new trailer, they also say that Donald is one of the world’s greatest adventurers, something that we are skeptical of. The show will premiere on summer and Disney XD has already approved a second season before revamped show has even aired. Something that has many of us pretty excited and happy about it.
