Star Wars is a key element of pop culture. Full of epic characters, special effects, and dialogues. But it seems that the written part wasn’t that good for the guys from Bad Lip Reading. Since they decided to remaster George Lucas’ masterpiece.
As they took scenes from Star Wars: A New Hope and change way more than just the dialogues of the first ever Star Wars film. Due to their “retouches” change as well the history of a very nonsense yet hilarious way. Therefore changing the whole fate of the galaxy into a way more silly one.
In a rad corner of outer space
The hilarious video from the YouTube channel really does an amazing work rearranging the Star Wars galaxy. As the personalities of all the iconic characters have been reinvented.
Darth Vader seems to be a jock hitting on Leia, a bit incestuous if you ask us. C3PO seems to be equally annoying but with an Indian accent and R2D2 is a weird kinky “Tickle Me, Elmo.” While Luke is a dumb Californian “dude” and Ben Kenobi a creepy old man.
Classic scenes feat bad lip reading
Besides changing the characters and their dialogues some of the movies have been “fixed.” Like the opening scene of all the Star Wars saga is now Dart Vader flirting with Leia like a jerk, sending her “helmet pictures.” As she replies she doesn’t want the dirty pics.
Or when Ben uses the force to mind-control the Storm Troopers, now is just a bunch of guys asking for donations while Ben says that one smells fishy and creeps him out. Also, the scene in which they hire Han turns into a nonsense conversation of millenary relics and a haunted house.
The power of sound
The video is really an incredible parody masterpiece. For some reason, the Star Wars parodies always turn to be the best for a reason. If not look at Family Guy’s one. Besides the new more original dialogue lines the especial effects are something to really pay close attention to since they seem very “professional.”
Along with that we also notice how powerful words can be, as this voice over joke really turns some of the most iconic footage of cinematic history and rips it apart. We applaud the work from the guys of Bad Lip Reading as once again they’ve done it.
