Each new season of the show is a complete event. As people’s excitement always reaches new heights. By creating new conspiracy theories, the negation of the ones who died, the wonder of who will die and the torturous waiting game to know what will happen next. So when Jamie Lannister itself reveals something about the show, everyone listens carefully.
Summer is coming
The new and seventh Game of Thrones season is still months ahead. But that doesn’t mean that anyone can’t still look for some leaked information about the beloved show. As it happened on Instagram, that showed some of the scenes of the new season being shot.
But even though that little spoiling treat got the internet talking for a time there is a new and way more official spoiler. Along probably many conspiracy theories that will fill the internet. Since they come from actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jamie Lannister on the show.
Revealed a spoiler to the press(?)
Coster-Waldau was being interviewed on The Daily Beast about the upcoming and penultimate season of the show. As he was being interviewed he almost revealed a key information about the show. Due to the importance of Coster-Waldau’s character, everything he says about it has relevance. Especially if it’s something that regards the fate of his sister/lover, Cersei.
This happened while the 46-year-old actor was asked about the interaction of his character with Edmure Tully, in which he confessed his romantic involvement with Cersei. All of this during the sixth season. As they talked about that in particular and the future of Cersei on the show.
The coolest thing about Jamie
As Coster-Waldau proceed, he said that even though all the thing that had happened on the show he still loves the character of Jamie. Since he founds him an incredibly deep character. As he said: “That’s what I like about Jaime: he’s lost his arm and just his presence used to be enough to sway people, and he doesn’t have that anymore but he’s still got his mind.”
“He’s not like his sister and brother, but he’s been on the battlefield his whole life, and knows about people’s weaknesses and loving someone unconditionally because he loves his sister unconditionally.”
The juicy information
After that, Coster-Waldau continued and almost drop the Cersei-spoiler bomb. By saying: “Plus, there are no other suitors. Well, that’s not true… but he has to step up and take his father’s place. Wow, I was about to reveal something from Season 7 and thought, What am I doing?”
The few lines that the 46-year old actor said were enough to break the internet and get theories popping around. Since it seems that Jamie will have to fight for Cersei’s love in the upcoming season, something that many would love to see. Besides that who will be the mysterious suitor(s) the calculating Cersei will have? And will she reply to any of them?
