The cartoon was created by Genndy Tartakovsky for Cartoon Network, back in 2001 making its first TV screens appearance that year. The show was born out of Tartakovsky’s dissatisfaction with action cartoons. This made him put hands into action and taking truly this genre into a new direction.

Cartoon Network granted him a total of 52 episodes. The final episode of Samurai Jack to ever have been aired was on September 25, 2004. But finally, and thankfully, we would be seeing more of them this March.
