The 2017 Golden Raspberry Awards Happened And Batman Vs. Superman Took Home a Lot Of Razz

Of All The Shows During Award Season, I Think This One Is Right Next To The Oscars In Popularity.

The Golden Raspberry Awards are back, recognizing the worst movies and winners of the past year.. Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Hilary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party took home several trophies this year, with 4 and 3 awards each one.

While the Oscars awarded on Sunday the very best of filming achievements, the Razzie Awards recognized the very worst of the industry. The raspberry-shaped trophies’ nominates included Zoolander, Dirty Grandpa, Zoolander 2, Snowden, Suicide Squad and more.

9.  Worst Supporting Actor.

Fighting this category were Nicolas Cage for Snowden, Johnny Depp for Alice Through The Looking Glass, Jesse Eisenberg in Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Will Ferrel for Zoolander 2, Jared Leto for Suicide Squad, and again for Zoolander 2 Owen Wilson.

The ultimate winner was Jese Eisenberg for his villain work in Batman vs. Superman, which is the first award for the dreaded movie.

8. Worst Supporting Actress.

Representing Dirty Grandpa in this category were Julianne Hough and Aubrey Plaza, Kate Hudson said was there for Mother’s Day, Jane Seymour did the same for her work in Fifty Shades of Black. Sequels were also present, while veteran Sela Ward represented the sci-fi sequel in Independence Day: Resurgence and Kirsten Wiig did the same for Zoolander 2.

The winner was Kristen’s portrayal of Donatella-like blonde fashion diva in Zoolander 2.

7. Worst Screenplay.

For Screenplay were penalized the following movies, Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Dirty Grandpa, Gods of Egypt, Hilary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party, Independence Day: Resurgence and Suicide Squad.

The absolute winner was Superman: Dawn of Justice, which came as no surprise for the huge budget production that didn’t raise that much money.

6. Worst Director.

Dinesh D’Souza’s directing work for Hilary’s America led the nomination, also nominated were Roland Emmerich for Independence Day: Resurgence, Tyler Perry for his work in BOO! A Madea Halloween, Alex Proyas’ Gods of Egypt, Zack Snyder for Batman vs. Superman and finally Ben Stiller for Zoolander 2.

Dinesh D’Souza won the category and during his acceptance speech, he angrily said, “The reason you’re giving it to me is that you’re very upset that Trump won. You haven’t gotten over it and probably never will.”

5. Remake or Sequel.

This movie gathered Alice Through The Looking Glass, Batman vs. Superman, Fifty Shades of Black, Independence Day: Resurgence, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Zoolander 2.

Not so proudly Batman vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice took the trophy home.

4. Screen Combo.

This category awards the very worst punctuations in the website Rotten Tomatoes. We found Batman vs. Superman, Collateral Beauty, Gods of Egypt, Alice Through The Looking Glass, BOO! A Meade Halloween and Zoolander 2.

Amazingly ranking a twenty-seven percent on Rotten Tomatoes. BvsS took home his third trophy!

3. Worst Actor.

The nominees were both Ben Affleck and Henry Vaill for Batman vs Superman, Gerard Butler in Gods of Egypt, Ben Stiller in Zoolander, Robert DeNiro in Dirty Grandpa and Dinesh D’Souza in Hilary’s America.

The ultimate winner was Dinesh D’Souza for his performance as himself in the faux right documentary.

2. Worst Actress.

For Worst Actress, we had Divergent Series’ Shailene Woodley and Naomi Watts, Megan Fox for TMNT, Tyler Perry interpretation of Madea, Julia Roberts in Mother’s Day and Becky Turner as Hilary in Hilary’s America.

The winner was Becky Turner as Hilary, she was even called fake actress, making it the third award for the movie.

1. Worst Picture.

Battling in this category were Batman vs. Superman, Dirty Grandpa, Gods of Egypt, Zoolander 2, Hilary’s America and Independence Day.

Batman vs. Superman took home its fourth award making it the very worst movie in this year Razzie Awards.
