This Anti-Weed Campaign Is A Little Bit Over The Top What Do You Think?

Maybe The Producers Took A Bite Of The Product Before Creating The Clip

Ok so we live in a free country, but this campaign against weed might have reached the title of “way too much.

This November marijuana legalization is on the ballot in 8 states. Some states are deciding regarding its medicinal use and others its recreational use. But let’s focus on Massachusetts, where the decision is whether to legalize the recreational use of marijuana for adults from 21 years old. The state already legalized medicinal marijuana in 2012, and possession of small amounts of the drug is decriminalized. So, now they face the decision to legalize its recreational use.

So to  create awareness about the issue, there’s an Anti-Cannabis ad urging citizens to “Vote No on 4”. The campaign has been quite criticized because of its sort post-apocalyptic world concept .

A bit too extreme right? Well, the add demonizes marijuana use and users and shows us a rather dystopian New England ruled by stoners and marijuana users. It shows a mother and daughter driving down what seems a regular Massachusetts neighborhood until they realized is been taken by pot and stoners!!! You’re supposed to feel scared at this point -at least that’s what the ad’s looking for. Check it!
