Solange Knowles Opens Up About Her Devastating Disorder

The Confession That Leaves Hollywood In Awe

Solange Knowles stands out for her singing, she is a model, actress, DJ and a successful American businesswoman. Knowles has earned an impressive success with a lot of effort. Every day that passes for her is an opportunity to make the world better. So much so that she became a precursor and authentic activist to fight against racial segregation.

But unfortunately, Beyoncé’s younger sister is not only news this day for her actions or skills. She opened up in a post on her Instagram account. What is happening with Solange? She has confessed to the public the illness she is going through. She has no choice but to cancel the great New Year’s concert she had planned.

The Confession

“The past five months I have been trying and struggling with an autonomous nervous system disorder. It has been diagnosed for me. It has not been an easy trip for me. Sometimes I feel good, but sometimes I do not feel good at all. It is a very complicated diagnosis that I am learning a lot about myself.” Confessed the singer.

Wrote, deleted and re wrote this like 5 times… Still not sure what exactly or how much I want to share… However it’s so important to me for the people in South Africa, a place that has tremendous meaning to me and that has given me SO SO MUCH, to know why I won’t be performing at Afro Punk this NYE. The past five months I have been quietly treating, and working through an Autonomic Disorder. It been a journey that hasn’t been easy on me… Sometimes I feel cool, and other times not so cool at all. It’s a complicated diagnoses , and I’m still learning so much myself, but right now, my doctors are not clearing me for such an extended lengthy flight, and doing a rigorous show right after. I can’t put into words how saddened and sorry I am that I am unable to perform for you guys this NYE, there is simply no other place I wanted to be than there with my family to bring in 2018 with you…….but I give you my ABSOLUTE WORD I will come back with AfroPunk and deliver this performance… it is so extremely important to me to connect with the people who have so closely inspired me in so many ways. I can’t thank Afro Punk enough for their support, and to all of the other festivals this past summer/fall who have known about my health, kept it confidential, and gone out of their way to make me feel supported while doing these shows. As a part of the self care that I’ve tried to encourage this past year, it needs to start with myself, and I’m looking forward to doing a better job of this 2018. This past year has been one of the most fulfilling of my life… Performing this record and experiencing the energy exchange with you guys has been astounding, and I’m so excited about continuing to do the work I feel so absolutely humbled and appreciative to be doing next year. It gives me life.

Support for this star

This is the reason why she has had to definitively cancel one of the most anticipated concerts. The performance would have taken place this December 31st at the Afropunk festival. The singer expresses her sadness but made a relevant decision since health always comes first.
This devastating news has scandalized Solange’s followers. So much so that they have not hesitated to show their support through social media to the American singer. Their support will be present and be accompanying her Solange’s improvement over time.
At this moment what Solange Knowles needs most is a lot of rest and above all time to be able to face this disease in a much more effective way. Together with her loved ones and her loyal fans we are sure that she will feel very encouraged. We wish the best for this celebrity. Hoping that very soon she can overcome this obstacle and return to the stage to break the stage. She’s a fearful woman, we are certain she can accomplish anything.
