“Game of Thrones” upcoming season has been something everybody has been waiting for a long time. In the meantime, the guys from HBO have revealed a poster featuring the night king. To keep us anxious and craving for the new season, as they’ve been doing releasing hints, details, theories, pictures and so on.
Season 7 is less than two months away for the world to see. The reason why HBO is at least giving us with some new images and poster. Before the Night King’s poster, earlier in the week they released one featuring Daenerys’s huge dragons towering over a burnt battlefield.
The Night King poster
The Night’s King is the leader of the White Walkers. For so the main villain and the greatest threat to Westeros. In the poster, that is really intimidating, we get him staring intensely straight towards us. But besides looking and scaring our souls it has a special detail, that hardcore online fans have discovered. Jon Snow is reflected in his eye. Others think that if you still making close-ups you can see Daenerys and Queen Cersei landing into the Iron Throne.
Previously, many fans believed that, in another trailer, you could see “The Wall” in the Night King’s eye reflection. Still, we know that the White Walkers will play a key role in the upcoming season. We first saw the dreaded Night King in a vision of Bran Stark’s in season 4. At the end of it, we also saw him turning a baby into a zombie-like White Walker with the simple touch of his finger. In the next season, the Night King appears attacking Jon Snow and Tormund Giantsbane were coordinating the evacuation of Hardhome.
Upcoming appearances of the Night King
In the last season, the Night King and his army descended upon Bran and his friends in the Three-Eyed Raven’s tunnels. Causing death and destruction, something that will surely keep happening on the seventh season of the show. The Night King was the first man to be turned into a White Walker by the Children of the Forest’s leader Leaf. Due to the “First Men” were destroying the forests.
Co-executive producer Bryan Cogman told EW that the “song of fire and ice” will become more literal in the upcoming season. Since: “There are White Walkers and dragons and once they start to come together the story has to go where it goes“. Also, the pacing will be much quicker this season as reported by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. “I feel like I’d been lulled into a different pace. Everything happened quicker than I’m used to … a lot of things that normally take a season now take one episode”. Game of Thrones returns on July 16th on HBO.
