Paris Hilton’s Sex Tape Stopped Her From Being Like Princess Diana

The Socialité Assured Marie Claire’s September Issue That Her Sex Tape Ruined Her ‘Princess Status’

In an interview with Marie Claire magazine, Paris Hilton says she could have been like Princess Diana. The socialite reflected on the infamous sex tape that kept her from achieving that place.

Hilton also discussed President Trump in the interview, specifically the sexual misconduct allegations, and claimed that the alleged victims are just trying to get attention.

The only thing that stopped Paris from being a princess was her sex tape

In Marie Claire’s September issue, Paris Hilton opened up about the sex tape that leaked in 2004,  featuring her and then boyfriend Rick Salomon.

“It’s really hurtful, because my whole life I really looked up to Princess Diana, all these elegant, amazing women, and I feel like [Salomon] just took that all away from me,” she admitted.

“I could have been like that, but because of that tape, I will always be judged and thought of as whatever they say about me because of a private moment between my boyfriend and me.”

The Hilton chain’s heir was frank as she said it’s her ‘one regret’ in life. “I wish I had never met him. That is actually the one regret in my life. I wish that I had never met that guy,” she said.

“I could not leave my house for months. I was so depressed, humiliated. I didn’t want to be seen in public.” While Salomon and Hilton filmed the tape in 2001, Salomon released it online when Paris’ TV series ‘The Simple Life’, which she starred in with pal Nicole Richie, was about to hit TV screens.

The pair got caught in a legal battle and reached a settlement out of court in 2005.

Thoughts on Trump

In the interview, Paris also winds her thoughts on President Trump, whom she knows since she was a little girl, and considers him “so nice, so respectful and sweet.” Hilton also shared her thoughts on women who allege that Trump sexually assaulted them.

“I think that they are just trying to get attention and get fame,” she said. “I feel like, a lot of people, when something happens, all these opportunists will come out,” she said.

“They want to get money or get paid to not say anything or get a settlement when nothing really happened. So I don’t believe any of that.”

In the interview, Hilton is described as shrugging and looking out the window while talking about the topic. Hilton, who claims she didn’t vote for Trump, doesn’t agree with Trump on every subject. Specifically his rhetoric on Mexican people.

“I love the people here, and I don’t think that they should be talked about like that at all.”
