I’m sorry you guys, I know I’m about to crush your dreams but I need to share this. Margot Robbie confirmed her marriage to the British director Tom Ackerley via Instagram. The couple said “I Do” on Monday afternoon in an extremely private ceremony at Byron Bay.
The 26-year-old actress shared a photo on the social media platform showing off her pear-shaped diamond ring, as she kissed her husband. The couple celebrated their engagement earlier this year, but the wedding was a surprise for everyone, including the guests.
There are barely a few pictures from their big day.
It was a super private event only fifty people were invited to the ceremony, the couple wanted their wedding to be a closely guarded secret so the cameras and phones were banned. Naturally, the bride was the first one to reveal a picture.
They kept the location of the wedding a secret.
The ceremony took place at a private estate in Coorabell in Byron Bay’s hinterland, but the location was kept a secret even for the guests. They were asked to gather at different locations from Byron Bay to the Gold Coast, where they would be picked up by buses that will take them to the wedding location.

It was an elegant but simple ceremony, she was dressed in an Oscar de la Renta gown with a gypsy look, although it was luxurious was also laid down. The ceremony lasted from 4 pm to 11 pm. The guests were served Robbie’s favorite foods: Pizza and Coco Pops (yes, cereal).

Byron Bay was the perfect spot for their private wedding.
