Lana Del Rey Got Emotional After Coachella And Wrote A Song About It: Check It Out

Lana Del Rey shared through her Instagram account a preview of a song she wrote after attending Coachella. According to the caption accompanying the video, all that fun at Coachella made her think about everything else that is wrong in the world.

The acclaimed singer shared a video on Instagram of herself, singing in the middle of a sequoia grove. On the caption, she stated that she is really concerned about tensions with North Korea, and also about all the other things that are currently happening around the world, which seems to be falling apart.

New Lana song inspired by the world’s issues

Lana wrote the song right in the grove and decided to share it, and her meditations about the subject, with her fans. The short preview of the lyrics, we can catch Del Rey being as ethereal as usual, but with an emotive message, a petition, actually, for what we guess is God: “I’d trade it all for a stairway to heaven, I’d take my time as I climb up to the top of it / I’d trade the fame and the fortune and the f*cking legend, I’d give it all away if you give just one day to answer one question.”

I'm not gonna lie- I had complex feelings about spending the weekend dancing whilst watching tensions w North Korea mount. I find It's a tightrope between being vigilantly observant of everything going on in the world and also having enough space and time to appreciate God's good earth the way it was intended to be appreciated. On my way home I found myself compelled to visit an old favorite place of mine at the rim of the world highway where I took a moment to sit down by the sequoia grove and write a little song. I just wanted to share this in hopes that one individual's hope and prayer for peace might contribute to the possibility of it in the long run. The new album of Lana Del Rey is coming soon

‘Lust for Life’ is the upcoming album from the singer, scheduled for release later this year. This will be the fifth album of the artist, following her acclaimed 2015 ‘Honeymoon’. On February 18 she shared the first single, titled “Love”, and on March she revealed the title and the artwork, along with a trailer on her official VEVO channel on Youtube.

In a recent interview with Courtney Love for Dazed Magazine, Del Rey shared more details about the album, including a collaboration with Sean Lennon in a song called “Tomorrow Never Came”, and about the title track, “Lust For Life”, which features singer The Weeknd. She said that she knows it’s weird to have a feature on the title track, but it’s the song she loves the most.

As the album seems almost done, we can’t assure if this recently written song will be featured. Or even if it will ever be released. But the warming chorus makes us expect the best.
