Gorillaz came back with big cool news! The animated band released on Thursday a wild video for ‘Saturnz Barz’. The video is already weird but neat and it has a 360-degree virtual reality version available on Youtube.
After a 6 years music hiatus the band will release its new album ‘Humanz’ on April 28th. The exciting news comes with four new songs, so happy to have them back!

Gorillaz is back with a crazy wild video that follows the band entering in what seems a haunted house. In the video, each one of the members is terrified by the house in a different way, which comes from a stellar bath till talking frightening food.
The song features Jamaican dancehall artist Popcaan who drops some lines in the shape of a cool talking pizza that will catch your attention.
The video was directed by Jamie Hewlett and it has a 360-degree virtual reality version available on Youtube if you want to explore this crazy video.

Back in January, Gorillaz released a video with UK singer Benjamin Clementine to protest Trump’s administration. At the time the band revealed that it was woking on its new album to release it later this year.
Well, the time has come and on April 28 we’ll be able to enjoy this long-expected work. ‘Humanz’ is the follow-up of 2011’s The Fall.

Damon Albarn spoke about Humanz’s narrative on BBC Radio 1, he said, “The album kind of came from this dark fantasy. Just imagine the weirdest, most unpredictable thing that changes everything in the world. How would you feel on that night? Would you go and get drunk? Would you stay at home? Just watch TV? Would you talk to people?”
Along with the great news of the album release date, the band dropped four new songs.’Ascension’, featuring Vince Staples, ‘We Got The Power’, featuring Jenny Beth, ‘Andromeda’ featuring D.R.A.M, and ‘Saturn Barz’ featuring Popcaan.

‘Humanz’ will have with 14 tracks. The album includes an impressive list of guests, including Mavis Staples, Grace Jones, Pusha T, Danny Brown, Kelela, De La Soul, Kali Uchis, Jamie Principle, Anthony Hamilton, Peven Everett and Zebra Katz. The deluxe edition of the record will boast appearances from Kilo Kish, Peven Everett and even Carly Simon.
