We’ve long waited, soon we’ll see Anastasia and Christian again. Almost two years have passed since we first saw the erotic story on the big screen. Now we get to see the trailers of the upcoming movie and is heating up, I can tell you that.
This new year brought us the release of the Fifty Shades sequel trailers. The two-minute trailer takes it up right where we left it, and then shows how the story evolves and will leave you wanting to be February already.
Fifty Shades Darker.
Things got deeper and darker at the sound of Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik’ song. Seems like second chances come with huge adventures and difficulties to overcome, or at least that’s what it seems for Ana and Christian’s vanilla love.
Picking up right where we left it.
In the first part, we saw how Ana and Christian unsuccessfully tried to stay away from each other, and then it all finished when Ana got in the elevator and simply walked away. Well, for what we can see in this new trailer after spending time away from each other the couple reunites. Taking their vanilla love on track again, they share cute and sexier moments and seem to be enjoying their relationship.
It really gets darker.
But don’t get too comfortable with that “vanilla” love, seems like this is no fairy tale, because villains take part of the action of the trailer too. Whether in the first movie they fought to keep away from each other, in this one they seem to fight to stay together. Yep, Ana and Christian’s love has enemies, and they have to fight people trying to separate them, AKA a mysterious girl who stalks them and points Ana with a gun, and Ana’s boss who keeps creeping her.
Steamier…and complicated.
But things definitely get steamier as Ana says to him that this time there will be no rules. and as things get steamier, they also get complicated. Not only there’s a lot of drama going on around them but also we add the cherry on top, which is the appearance of “Mrs. Robinson”. In case you don’t know, this is who introduces Christian to all this games and submission world.
People come and go.
The sequel features Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson as Christian and Anastasia, who will rekindle their lost romance. New adds to the story are, Kim Basinger as “Mrs. Robinson”, Bella Heathcote as Leila Williams and Eric Johnson as Jack Hyde. Someone who won’t be coming back is director Sam Taylor-Johnson who reportedly didn’t get quite along with author E.L.James, and will be replaced by James Foley.
Almost a month to go!
After long two years wait, fans will finally see their favorite couple coming back in the most incredible way. The movie will premiere on February the 10th, right in time for Valentine’s Day. And looks like is going to be a success since the trailer in just two days already has 5 million views.
