Gallup just did a survey which evaluated 48 cities in the U.S in the best “active living environments” by looking at bike lanes, public transit, parks and the level to which each city was walkable. San Francisco ranked 2nd place; the top-ranked cities have significantly lower rates of smoking, obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure according to Gallup.
