This May We'll Have LCD Soundsystem, HAIM And Katy Perry On Saturday Night Live

Saturday Night Live is one of the best, and longest running, TV shows ever. As it entertains us in every possible way. Not only with their incredibly clever and funny sketches but also with amazing musical acts and star hosts. Something they’re planning to burst this May. Making the beginning of this month even cooler, as we have something amazing to expect for.

As they’ve revealed through their official Twitter account, on April 26th, how they plan to make May more incredible. Revealing the lineup they have planned for the month, as we can assure you that it’s full of amazing stars, and above all music.

The first of the bunch

To have the right start for the month they will be kicking it with Chris Pine. As the “Hell or Highwater” star will host the first Saturday of the month on May 6th. Pine, who is set to star in the upcoming Wonder Woman film, will be joined along with LCD Soundsystem. As the musical act led by James Murphy has created a lot of hype after their reunion. Hopefully, their presentation at the show features new music from the group. Since they have an upcoming album and have released some fresh songs.

The following weekend, on May 13th, Melissa McCarthy will host it. To what manny expect another incredible interpretation of McCarthy as Press Secretary Sean Spicer, as she did last month. But it will be a girls night, and a powerful one since the musical act will be Haim. Hopefully, they will also dazzle us with some new music since they’ve recently released their new single “Right Now”. As a teaser of what their second album can offer.

Best for the end

Finally, for the last weekend, the host will be the fans’ favorite Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Who’s latest movie”Fast and Furious 8: The Fate of The Furious,” part of the successful blockbuster franchise, was released this month, on April 14th. He will be joined by Katy Perry, on May 20th.

Perry has been buzzing a lot lately. Not only for her hit single “Chained to the Rythm,” but also due to her latest social media activity. Since she took the world by storm by posting pictures of herself giving away pies and “The World’s Best Cherry Pie” recipe to fans. As a teaser for her next track “Bon Appétit”. Something that has been heavily promoted on every social network. Maybe she’ll debut of the mysterious single on the show.
