The Powers Rangers reboot premiered on Friday and millennials are loving it! The famous 90s show that entertained kids and teens it’s back and we can’t hide our excitement! Right time and age.

The 1996’s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers was definitely one of the first show several kids watched. The cool thing about it’s that the show was originally aimed for ages 9-12 but it actually got even to children aged 5-7.

Yeah, basically everybody loved it and we all dreamt about being one of the Rangers. It was a simple story following a group of friends that had the coolest martial moves and could come together to make this giant robot.

Cool, right?

All in!

Even when the original show didn’t have that much representation, considering it only had one Asian and one black cast member, it did spread the right message.

Let me break it down for you, the team not only had to make the effort and work as a real unity to make Megazord work and defeat their evil enemies. It also had both male and female representation and both boys and girls were as important, powerful and key pieces in the team. So, teamwork and no gender gap or difference, checked!

The beauty of simplicity.

Let’s face it, the show was pretty much low budget and it was more than clear when it came to the infamous costumes. But that’s also part of its beauty, while our parents might laugh about it, all a kid could see was the genuinely of simplicity.

This simplicity was not only portrayed by the costumes but by the fact that the Rangers had so much fun and long for those moments where they could go and have fun saving the world.

It was always there.

Whether we grew up or out of it, the Rangers were always there. The show has like a trillion adaptations to the point that the powers are so specific it’s even crazy. They were always there to show us how to have crazy fun while saving the world with our friends.
