Last Tuesday, during her live tv show Ellen Degeneres talked about how her weekend had been going and it seemed like it hadn’t gone so well, look at her finger!.
The American host told her audience what happened to her finger during her Tuesday show. Ellen Degeneres started her show giving us some explicit references about what have happened to her after returning home from a dinner party.
The hilarious woman had to be taken to the hospital by her wife, Portia after she fell into their house’s door and they thought she had broken her finger. It turned out that it was dislocated, not broke just wrongly located as she explained.
She will not allow herself to be beaten.
Before Tuesday show started, Degeneres made an important declaration. The host said “I know what you are thinking, how can I host a show without the tip of your ring finger,” explaining the audience that she wouldn’t allow that issue to beat her and that she would continue performing her important work, to inform and to entertain people during the show.
After falling into a door this is what happened to Ellen’s finger.
Ellen and her wife Portia were arriving home from a dinner party when she fell into their house’s door. The American host added that she knew that something was wrong because she looked at her finger and it looked kind of horrible. “Oh I’m sorry, I should’ve warned you so don’t look at that, if you’re squeamish don’t look at that,” Degeneres claimed.

The star explained that the first thing that came up to her mind was to not worry because Obamacare would take care of her finger. Then, Ellen thanked UCLA staff who helped her to overcome that “difficult moment,” giving special relevance to her nurse Tammy. “They did an x-ray to my finger and here’s what it looked like,” the tv show host added.

For those who didn’t know, Ellen explained what happen when you dislocate a finger. Doctors do a very technical procedure, “they take the part that’s dislocated and they just snap it right back into place,” tv show host said. So that was what they did to her not before asking the woman if she wanted a shot, to what she answered “no I had two glasses of wine,” adding that was what has gotten her there in the first place.
