The OA Will Have A Second Season Since Netflix Confirms The Sci-Fi Drama

Netflix has taken the world by storm. Since in a way they’ve redefined how we see our favorite shows and movies. Especially by the fact that it might be the one online site we all have subscribed and paid for in a long time.

But besides redefining the movies and series world, Netflix also produces their own stuff. Due to the fact that they also have produced some original things that are incredible. So the guys from Netflix aren’t fooling around.

The OA.

One of those amazing series produced by Netflix is “The OA,” a sci-fi supernatural drama. The show aired on December 6th of 2016 and was created and produced by Brit Marling, who does the leading role of Prairie, and Zal Barmanglij. The show is their third collaboration together.

A sum of the plot is that a girl, called Prairie Johnson, reapers after been missing for seven years. Also, she used to be blind, but now she has resurfaced with her sight perfectly restored. Now in her 20’s Prairie returns home. For many, it’s a miracle but for others, it means something more dangerous.

Mixed feelings.

The show really deserves to be watched. Since it has received mix criticism, some say it’s amazing and others have hated it. Maybe because it was released a bit after Stranger things and people started comparing them.

The series counts with 8 episodes, it’s a sci-fi topic, a leading female role and so on. So now you kind of see why the comparisons. But you should be the judge.

The OA is coming back.

Netflix has renewed the contract awarding the sci-fi series a “Part II,” as they’ve called it. Something that is really exciting. Due to the series, interesting characters and its unusual narrative style. That attracted many fans, despite the criticism.

Also, it has taken many by surprise that the show seems to end on season one. As it never seemed like a multi-season affair. But it will be very interesting to see what the guys from “The OA,” will do.
