Heartbroken Cat Has Spent 1 Year By Her Dead Owner’s Grave

Pets are part of the family, in a fluffy loving way. They are always by our side to listen and make us company. These furry family members have a level of love and loyalty that not many people around history have achieved.

This is a story of how a little cat’s love has trespassed the lines between life and death to keep being in the company of her human.

Her owner was an old lady that passed away a year ago, in Central Java, Indonesia. Since then, the cat has been living in there and stayed by her side.

She only leaves the grave to go back to her former home where she is fed by the old lady’s children.

Passer-by Keli Keningau Prayitno, 28, first heard the cat crying and thought it was homeless so he adopted her. But she missed her owner so much that by the next morning she was in the grave again. “She sleeps there and meows, ” Keli said “It’s very sad to see. It shows just how close animals are to their owners.”

Even though walkers feed her and have tried to give her a home she stills go back to the grave and rolls in the earth and sleeps by the grave everyday no matter what.

Animal experts say that cats can grieve after an owner’s death or abandon. They can become anxious, lose interest in the outer world, and become unlike themselves. This heartbroken cat is an example of all the beauty in animals.
