Ed Sheeran has taken some time-off from the music business, and he’s using it for good. Recently he dropped in for a private concert for a 9-year-old superfan. As if Ed couldn’t be cuter, the singer decided to surprise Melody whom has spent most of her time in hospitals due to a rare neurological disease.
Singing “Photograph” to Melody.
Melody has spent about 80 percent of her life in hospitals and has undergone more than 40 operations, but that was not an excuse not to enjoy having her favorite singer singing a lovely serenade to her.
Overwhelmed with joy.
After the visit Melody’s mother wrote a heartfelt thank you note to Ed that said: “I want to personally take this time to thank you for making my princess’ dream come true,” she wrote.
Love at first sight.
Melody mother explained how the little girl’s fascination by Ed started. She said that she fell in love with Ed when ‘Thinking Out Loud’ came on TV for the very first time. She said that “She sat there beaming at you on the tv and didn’t take her eyes off you for a single second. Then every single time you came on the TV after that she gave the exact same reaction.”
