In their neverending quest for the perfect finish, beauty vloggers came up with another makeup trend, using condoms to apply makeup and we’re just trying to understand it.

Seems like it was already time for a new fashion trend to creep us up and the Internet delivered it. Just when you think that makeup and condoms don’t go together, the Internet surprises you.

Over the past years, beauty vloggers have made a huge contribution to our share of Internet amazement and WTF moments and they’re determined to keep contributing.

Last year we witnessed the craziest challenges, including beauty challenges such as the layers challenges. We also saw how a new makeup trend took over the Internet causing people to throw away their makeup brushes and take on bra inserts and later the fancy silicon sponges.

And we were shocked.

About to get better…or weirder.

Well, last year trends were almost normal compared to the newest one. This one really is unbelievable. Last week a new trend appeared to remind us how crazy people really are.

People are tucking their beauty blenders inside condoms, YES CONDOMS!, to apply their foundation. Presumably, by doing this, the condom absorbs less product than by applying it with a sponge.

Here’s the mastermind behind the crazy idea, Youtuber Laila Tahr who went too far looking for new creative ways to apply makeup.

Sadly this ain’t no joke.

According to vloggers that used this crazy and twisted trend, applying it with a condom not only allows the foundation to glide over the skin but also prevents it from being absorbed by the sponge.

As parts of the directions, makeup artists say to wash the condom to get rid of lubricant and then stick a cheap beauty blender inside the condom and start blending your makeup, I mean WTF!!

Fear not, people are not buying it.

Well, we’re all pretty shocked about just seeing condoms and makeup being used at the same time and for the same purpose. The thing is people are actually not so sure about the new trend.

Some pointed out the obvious.

Others pointed out Internet’s ridiculous ideas and complete lack of common sense.
