Celebrities turned to social media after learning the news of Chuck Berry’s death. The rock and roll pioneer died on Saturday in Missouri at age 90.
Many fellows musicians and celebrities influenced by his work, sound and energy paid tribute to the icon, with touching and kind words.

The legendary guitarist, singer, songwriter and rock pioneer Chuck Berry died on Saturday at age 90. The legendary star was originally from Missouri and was one a key instrument of the rock and roll.
Berry’s energetic spirit onstage became an inspiration for many of the genre’s followers. Berry influence on music is iconic despite the fact that as a black artist he has to performed at segregated venues, but this didn’t prevent it from becoming one of the most famous faces of the genre.
Berry was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in its first year, he received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and was also a Kennedy Center Honoree. He was working on a new album.

Many celebrities paid tribute to the rock and roll legend, from musicians to actors and even former president Bill Clinton. Berry’s influence is incredible and never ending.
