Reflecting on the show’s moments.

On Sunday, during the final season premiere of Girls, E! News asked Allison Williams about her Marnie moments. Which gave the actress the opportunity to reflect on Marnie and say goodbye to her character. The actress then answered with an embarrassing moment from the first season.

She mentioned the time she sang Kanye’s “Stronger”  and it’s not a particularly fun memory for her. She said “I mean, her performance of ‘Stronger,’ I still can’t watch it in its entirety”

Oh, the shame.

For Allison, the moment is pretty embarrassing and she struggles to watch it, in fact, she doesn’t do it at all. She said, “Literally, I cannot watch it. They did this clips collection on HBO Go and I went through and watched it and the ‘Stronger’ one ended just in the knick of time, literally in the moment where I was like, I might pass out from secondhand and firsthand embarrassment the clip ended and I was very relieved.”

It’s ok Allison, we’ll remember Marnie for many other things, not just that one time she sang to Kanye’s beat.
