The Australian actor, Chris Hemsworth started playing the God of Thunder in 2011. Hemsworth continuously showed up with his long blonde hair and his deadly hammer while he interpreted the God’s role in Thor, The Avengers, Thor: The Dark World and Avengers: The Age of Ultron.
Entertainment Weekly left all of us in shock with the release of its latest cover. The magazine gave us the first look at Thor Ragnarok and for our surprise, Chris had had a drastic hairstyle change.
What we can expect from Ragnarok
After three years of a long-await the third film in the series “Thor,” will be released in 2017. Fans were expecting some changes and now it has been confirmed that although while it has already been revealed that Thor will seek out help from Doctor Strange and Hulk, Tom Hiddleston news suggests the trio may be facing an insurmountable threat in Asgard.
A major makeover.
Even superheroes need makeovers, in Thor: Ragnarok, The God of Thunder is forced into becoming a gladiator, which leads to his haircut and the loss of his trusty hammer. The latest entry finds a new Thor battling not only the Goddess of Death, Hela but also his frenemy the Hulk when the pair finds themselves on a desolate planet called Sakaar.
How Chris feels about this change.
The Australian actor expressed his happiness when he found out that the makeup hours were coming down. “It was nice not to have to sit in the makeup chair for that hour each morning,” Chris Hemsworth says. “It felt like a rebirth for me as the actor but also as the character,” star added.
