Music is one of those little things of life we all love. As it is something that there is always time or need for. It can create tension in a movie, give more sense to the actions of Tom & Jerry, or simply cheer you up or be the background at a party.
And if music was iconic, maybe or the last time, was in the 90’s. The 90’s might sound not so far away. But when you realize that there have been 20 years, that is when you start asking questions about your life. Not only this decade left us some questionable fashion trends, but it also gave us some music legends and anthems. That for many formed their musical taste.

20.The Prodigy – The Fat Of The Land.
This amazing album from British group features some of their classic songs like “Firestarter” and “Breathe”. The album is included in the book “1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.” And contains that characteristic awkward look from the band with their high tempo dance beat.
19.Shania Twain – Come On Over.
This album showed us that Canadians could do some serious and incredible country. As it included some of the most sounded songs of the decade. Including “You’re Still the One”, “That Don’t Impress Me Much,” and “Man! I Feel Like A Woman.”
18.Busta Rhymes – When Disaster Strikes …
The incredible rap artist that can throw rhymes faster than more could ever dream of. It continues the theme of apocalypse, as his previous album and was a commercial success open in third in the Billboard 200. It included “Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See” and “Dangerous”
17.Missy Eliot – Supa Dupa Fly.
One of the best and most classical albums of the 90’s. Featuring some of Eliot’s most iconical songs like “The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly),” “Beep Me 911,” and “Sock It 2 Me.” Showing not only her incredible musical talents but as well her odd and funny baggy looks. And it’s legendary videos.
16.Wu-Tang Clan – Wu-Tang Forever.
One of the best rap groups ever, and without a doubt of the 90’s. This second album of the group, after a long run of successful solo projects from various of its members, debuted number 1 on the Billboard charts. And counted with the featuring of various of the group’s associates.
15.Smash Mouth – Fush Yu Mang.
What could be more 90’s than Smash Mouth? The album’s name was taken from a slurred “f*ck you, man” by Al Pacino in Scarface. As well it contains some of the band’s best-known songs like “Walking On The Sun” and their cover of War’s “Why Can’t We Be Friends?”
14.Radiohead – Ok Computer.
Again one of the most influential alternative bands of the decade. It was the first self-produced album of the band. And it includes some classical songs like “Paranoid Android,” “No Surprises,” and “Karma Police.”

13.The Verve – Urban Hymns.
The band’s third and best-selling album. And not only for them, as for 2015 the album was ranked the 18th best-selling album in Uk chart’s history. Urban Hymns contains the band’s most known song “Bittersweet Symphony,” that immediately remounts you to epic images. Like buffalos running or something.
12.Daft Punk – Homework.
The debut album of the incredible French dance powerhouse. As it revived house music, something that nowadays Dj’s would thank a lot. The album contains some of the most well known and enjoyable songs from the duo like “Around The World” and “Da Funk.”

11.Björk – Homogenic.
The always odd but incredible Icelandic Björk’s third album. The album was produced in collaboration with Mark Bell, whom she cites as a major influence in her music. As well the music style of the album focuses on electronic beats and string instruments with songs in tribute to her native country. Containing some songs like “Joga,” “Bachelorette,” and “All Is Full of Love”
10.Hanson – Middle Of Nowhere.
It was really in the 90’s where the super pop brother groups were born. So for those who lived it the Jonas Brothers are just a rip-off. The very talented Hanson brothers created some of the best pop songs from the decade including “MMMBop” and “Where’s the Love”
9.Blur – Blur.
One of the best, if not the best for many, bands of the 90’s. Blur was part of that indie British invasion along with Oasis. But they had that happier sillier tone. The album changed a bit the style of the band since the guitarist was strongly influenced by the band Pavement. It contains some of their most successful songs like “Bettlebump” and the legendary “Song 2.”
8.Green Day – Nimrod.
One of the best albums of the legendary pop-punk band. The album includes a lot of different influences. As it contains musical elements of folk, surf rock, and ska. Along with Armstrong’s incredible lyrics. The album features some of the band’s classics like “Hitching A Ride” and “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)” who became part of the pop culture of the decade.
7.Will Smith – Big Willie Style
Will Smith proved that in the 90’s he was one of the biggest stars of the decade. As he released this debut album full of dance and good vibes. Showing us he was more than just an actor. As it included classic 90’s songs like “Just the Two of Us” and “Gettin’ Jiggy With it.”
6.Mariah Carey – Butterfly.
The fifth album of the incredible singer included tons of new things. Like the experimentation of hip-hop sounds and the featuring of various artists and producers of this gender. The album includes one of Carey’s most popular songs “Honey” and “My All.”
4.Third Eye Blind – Third Eye Blind.
The band’s debut album that released them to stardom. As it tops the Billboard 200 in the twenty-fifth place. As it included some well-known songs like “Jumper,” “How’s It Gonna Be” and their most well known and 90’s anthem “Semi-Charmed Life.”
4.Creed – My Own Prison.
The debut album from one of the most iconical bands of the 90’s. It is one of the top 200 selling albums of all time in the United States and it spent 150 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart. The album contains songs like “My Own Prison” and “Waht’s Life For?.”

3.Blink 182 – Dude Ranch.
The second album of the other kings of pop-punk and the legends of toilette humor. The album cemented Blink’s stardom. And it was the last album that features the original drummer Scott Raynor. It contains some of the band’s most iconic songs like “Josie” and “Dammit.” Full of their silly and dirty humor, shown in the songs and their videos.
2.Foo Fighters – The Colour and the Shape.
Is the debut album of Foo Fighters as a group. As the name was originally a Dave Grohl’s solo project for a demo. The album gave a kind of rebirth to grunge. And it features some of the band’s and the 90’s most iconic songs. Like “Monkey Wrench”, “My Hero,” and “Everlong.”
1.The Notorious B.I.G. – Life After Death.
Is the second album from the legendary rapper. And it was released posthumously following his death on March 9. It features collaborations with tons of famous guest artists such. And it is a cult album of the mafioso rap subgenre. It features one of the most legendary songs of the 90’s “Mo Money Mo Problems.”
