As you grow up there are many things that mark your childhood. But some of the things we tend to remember the most are the toys, candies and TV shows. Since this form practically our main interests at that age.
So for any who was a kid in the last two decades something they have grown up with is Power Rangers. Love them or hate them you know they’ve been on TV and especially for little kids, they’re awesome.
A movie is coming, time to morph.
The Power Rangers have become and created many iconic aspects of pop culture, that have been parodied endlessly. The morphing presentations, the Zorgs, the battles, the monsters, and the fighting scenes and “dialogues.” They’re all back in a movie this year, only that remastered.
New look.
In the trailer, we see that these Power Rangers are not only the average teen of our time, as they tended to be but they also seem to look a bit more adult, at least more than past Rangers have been.
Also the look of their spandex colorful outfits it’s more mature and complex as well, looking more badass than any of the rangers we remember. Maybe is the modern remastering as they try to appeal to older and new fans. Even Zordon looks like something that will feature in an app. As the aesthetics end up looking like a mix of “Transformers” and “Pacific Rim”
The classics, and something new.
Even though these Power Rangers look more mature in this movie, some of the classic and iconic aspects of the TV franchise are present. As we can see there’ll be monsters, fighting morphing, zorgs, and the classic villain Rita Repulsa.
In the new things, many fans would ask of is the love interest that it seems to be in this new Power Rangers movie. As it seems to be between the same Rangers, something that wasn’t very present in the stories before. All of this along with a new remastered Goldar.
The new stars.
This year the teenagers in charge of defending the earth against monsters and aliens will count with some new names. The new Power Rangers will be Dacre Montgomery (Red Ranger), Ludi Lin (Black Ranger), singer Becky G (Yellow Ranger), Naomi Scott (Pink Ranger), and RJ Cyler (Blue Ranger). As Bryan Cranston will be Zordon and Elizabeth Banks will play Rita Repulsa.
The Power Rangers movie will be directed by Dean Israelite and will premiere on March 24 of this year.
