Love Actually 2: Here’s Everything We Know So Far About The Classic Movie.

I Can’t Wait For This To Come Out

Last month we learned that Love Actually is getting a sequel and we can’t hide our excitement. The Christmas classic cast is coming together to film a highly anticipated sequel for this year’s Comic Relief.

We have so many questions about the beloved characters, like what happened to them, how are they doing and so on. Lucky for us, we are getting answers soon enough.

Coming together for a good cause.

The first thing to know about this expected sequel is that director Richard Curtis decided to bring back the cast to celebrate Red Nose Day.That’s right the sequel is being made in support of Comic’s Relief Red Nose Day fundraiser. This day has been running since the 80 raising money for projects and charities.

The director has previously worked doing these Red Nose Day TV specials and even while he never considered doing a sequel of Love Actually he thought it would be fun doing a special sketch based on one of his movies.

When discussing the project Curtis said,  “We’ve been delighted and grateful that so many of the cast are around and able to take part – and it’ll certainly be a nostalgic moment getting back together and recreating their characters 14 years later.”

Red Nose Day Actually…

That’s how the project came up bringing back one of the coolest stories. The special that will be aired on March 24. Red Nose Day Actually will be a 10-minute special showing us how are the beloved characters 14 years later.

The project is a pretty special reunion, bringing together Rowan Atkinson, Marcus Brigstocke, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Keir Charles, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Colin Firth, Hugh Grant, Keira Knightley, Andrew Lincoln, Martine McCutcheon, Lucia Moniz, Kate Moss, Liam Neeson, Bill Nighy and Olivia Olson.

Andrew Lincoln reprised his puppy eyes and huge cards to invite us to the very special reunion.

What the cast is up to:

The Prime Minister is still hot.

Emma Freud, the sequel’s director shared some pics giving some clues about the characters. We can see Prime rMinister David and his now-wife Natalie.

 Pretty deep father-son conversations.

This is honestly one of the cutest relationships in the movie, Sam and his step-father’s talks on the bench discussing the agony of being in love. Now Sam is all grown up but there’s definitely a bench scene! So, it seems like these two keep sharing some pretty deep conversations about life and love.

 Juliet and Peter.

Are pretty much married and still receiving cards visitors at their door…

 When it comes to Mark…

This little fella is continuing the tradition and bringing some huge cards to Juliet’s door, played by Keira Knightley. Only this time seems like he brings a quite different message…

Billy Mack and all his style.

The rock star played by Billy Nighy will also make his appearance in the 10 minute special to bring all of his uniqueness! Judging by the shoes he still got his groove.

Absent friends.

A missing piece in the project is Alan Rickman who died in 2016. The actor played the strayed husband of Emma Thompson, who won’t be in the film either.

“It’s been a frantic few weeks. It’s obviously very strange and sad that Alan can’t be with us, and that means Emma Thompson won’t be in it, either,” he said.
