The 2017 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards were on Saturday. That’s right the awards where kids get to vote for their favorite things from musical artists to viral sensations were on Saturday night and we got you the winners’ list in case you miss it.
The Nickelodeon KCA are always a blast and always result in an epic night for sure. This time nominees included Zendaya, Justin Bieber, Ellen Degeneres and more.
Kids’ Choice Awards 2017!
The time came for another night full of green slime! This time John Cena hosted the epic night that was full of surprises and fun. The ceremony took place at the USC Galen Center in Los Angeles.
This time Justin Timberlake led the nominations with a total of seven, followed by Kevin Hart with six. Performances included Little Mix, Machine Gun Kelly, and Camila Cabello.
Winning shows.
In the category of Favorite Kids’ Show, the winner was Henry Danger which beat Girl Meets World, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn, and The Thundermans.
Favorite Family Show, Fuller House got the award, leaving behind Big Bang Theory, Black-ish, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Supergirl and The Flash.
Favorite Reality Show, America’s Got Talent was the ultimate winner beating American Ninja Warrior, America’s Funniest Home Videos, Paradise Run, Shark Tank and The Voice.
The classic SpongeBob SquarePants got the award in the Favorite Cartoon category, beating Teen Titans Go!, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Amazing World of Gumball and The Loud House.
TV Stars winners.
In Favorite Male TV Star, Jace Norman who plays Henry in Henry Danger was the winner of the night. Jace beat Benjamin Flores Jr, Aidan Gallagher, Jack Griffo, Casey Simpson and Tyrel Jackson Williams.
Zendaya was the ultimate winner in the Female TV Star category, beating Rowan Blanchard, Dove Cameron, Lizzy Greene, Kira Kosari and Breanna Yde.
Movies.
The Favorite Movie winner was the cool remake of Ghostbusters. Ghostbusters proved to be the huge success by winning all the categories related to movies. Chris Hemsworth won Favorite Movie Actor with Ghostbuster while Melissa McCarthy won Favorite Movie Actress for her role in the same movie.
The Favorite Villain was Snowball from The Secret Life of Pets played by Kevin Hart, yeah man, you nailed it! Funny enough Kevin also took home the price as Most Wanted Pet for Snowball, because really who doesn’t want a rabbit like that?
The Favorite Butt Kicker was Chris Evans for Captain America.
In BFFs, Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johson took home the award for their funny and cute roles in Central Intelligence.
The Favorite Frenemies were Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman as Judy and Nick in Zootopia.
The Favorite Animated Movie was Finding Dory, which beat Moana, Sing, The Secret Life of Pets, Trolls, and Zootopia. Finding Dory also won Favorite Voice From An Animated Movie, Ellen DeGeneres took home the award for her classic interpretation of the forgetful little fish. Finding Dory also took home the award for #Squad.
Music.
Fifth Harmony took the award for Favorite Music Group. In the Favorite Male Singer category, Shawn Mendes took the prize, while in the Favorite Female Singer category Selena Gomez did the same.
In the Favorite Song, Fifth Harmony rose as the ultimate winner with Work From Home.
Favorite Music Video was won by Zay Hilfigerrr and Zayion McCall for Juju on That Beat.
Calvin Harris took home the award for Favorite DJ/EDM Artist.
Suicide Squad won Favorite Soundtrack.
Twenty Pilots result as the big winner of Favorite New Artist.
